Ivana is a Project Manager and Health Economist with Avalon Health Economics, focusing on economic modeling of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics and also supporting all projects involving quantitative and statistical analyses. This includes study design, analysis and critical appraisal of both applied and methodologic research related to cost-effectiveness, hospital value analysis, budget impact analyses, cost impact analyses, and cost-of-illness analyses. Her experience and expertise include evidence syntheses, economic modelling and statistical modelling in a variety of therapeutic and applied areas. Her analytic experience includes Markov modelling, probabilistic sensitivity analysis, regression analysis, and simulation modelling. She has extensive experience building economic models in Excel, and developing user-friendly model interfaces. Her quantitative skills include SAS, SQL, STATA, and Basic VBA. Before joining Avalon, Ivana was an Economic Data Analyst at Haver Analytics (New York, NY) where she was responsible for conducting a variety of economic analyses, database studies, simulation models, and research. Prior to Haver, Ivana worked as an Economic Analyst with Roy J. Epstein, focusing on complex statistical and data analysis for antitrust cases and other litigation support services. She holds a Masters of Arts in General Economics from Hunter College (NY) and Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics (and Finance minor) from Providence College (RI), where received the Dean’s four-year scholarship.
